
Helena is an heirloom bright leaf Virginian type of tobacco. It grows to 6'-7' in height with leaves 16"-18" in width and 24"-28" in length. It gives good yields at 4oz or more of high quality dried leaf. The leaves turn a bright yellow as they ripen and air or sun cure easily to a golden yellow color. It's leaves ripen earlier than many other bright leaf types and ripen as the plant reaches bloom. Helena has a smooth mild flavor and is ideal for cigarettes or pipe blends. Matures in 60-65 days.
