Banana Leaf was developed from the original Orinoco type, and is the oldest bright leaf variety known. It was the first of the many Virginian type bright leafs developed, and grows to 6 feet or more in height. It produces a narrow pointed leaf up to 30" long and 14" to 16" wide. It matures in 55-60 days and gives good yields, with leaves ripening about 2 weeks after flowering.
